The HYNET project was prominently featured during the EU-Montenegro Horizon Europe Joint Committee meeting, held in Brussels on 17 June 2025. The meeting brought together representatives from the European Commission and Montenegrin institutions to review progress and deepen cooperation under the Horizon Europe research and innovation programme.
HYNET is a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing cross-border energy infrastructure and supporting the integration of renewable energy sources across Europe. In Montenegro, the project is implemented with the active involvement of CGES (Crnogorski Elektroprenosni Sistem), the national electricity transmission system operator.
